  1. I’ve run into this guy many times at Ipswich Crown Pools. I mean literally.  No manners whatsoever.   Appears to think he owns the public pool. I suspect he’ll be the same once Broomhill opens. Perhaps one needs a single minded person to run a campaign – so even the worst of us have their uses it’s appears.  Hope I never cross paths with him again.

      We have heard that Mike Read starts his session with 8 lengths of butterfly just to warm up!
      He really is a very nice chap, and as you’d imagine very focused to do what he does and has achieved.
      We do hope that this experience will not detract from your support for the pool, and the very great efforts to secure its future.
      And the wonderful thing about Broomhill is that at 55 yards long and 20 yards wide, there should be plenty of room for both Mike and yourself to enjoy your swims.
